[Michels, Ivan C.]. JUST PUBLISHED. (ROYAL QUARTO.). CURRENT GOLD AND SILVER COINS OF ALL NATIONS. (Philadelphia, circa 1880). Printed sheet, 24 by 20 cm. Bottom margin cropped, fold-mark. [with] [Michels, Ivan C.]. JUST PUBLISHED. 1884. THE FIFTH EDITION OF CURRENT GOLD AND SILVER COINS OF ALL NATIONS. (Philadelphia, circa 1884). Printed sheet with coins depicted in gold and silver, approximately 27 by 20 cm. Right margin trimmed, bottom clipped, fold-mark. Two rare flyers promoting the sale of this popular and engaging work. The first flyer features the ink stamp of John W. Haseltine with the name of the original vendor no longer present at the bottom. The vendor's name is also clipped from the second flyer. A comparison of the two reveals that 1,453 coins were reproduced in the first edition, 1,749 in the fifth edition, to which is added "yearly statements of the pieces coined" and an "impartial list of premiums of every coin."
