The Chapman brothers dominated the U.S. coin market for more than half a century, from their beginnings in 1879 to Henry's final sale in 1932. With the Bushnell sale of 1882, they changed the way catalogues were written and collections were presented, ushering in a new era of careful and professional cataloguing that many of their competitors struggled to emulate. Includes the first and last sales of the series, as well as the 1892 King collection and the 1919 ANA sale.
